Deb's Photo Album

Neshe, Mikeanne, and I hiked up Yocum Ridge on Mt. Hood -- to tell you the truth, I don't remember if this was the end of September or the beginning of October -- anyway this was a wonderful hike, about 18 miles mostly through forest, gaining almost 4000 feet, and ending up with a terrific view of some of Mt. Hood's glaciers. Here are some pictures!

We were very amused to see that the hiker's name on the sample permit was "Jill Q. Public" -- hurray for women hikers!

Back at the trailhead we looked more closely at the map to see where we'd been -- I've traced our path with a yellow line so you can see too.

This needed to be documented too -- the hike took a bit of a toll on Mikeanne's heels -- but it was her own fault for wearing new boots! :)
